Edit: http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/chipsets/v-series/vn800/ By harnessing VIA's unique Flexi-Bus Technology, the VN800 enables support for both the all new VIA C7-M™ and Intel® Pentium® M processors. Designed with mobility in mind, the VIA VN800 is optimized for ultra low power consumption to maximize battery life, and features advanced ACPI support to enable the VIA VN800 to power down certain functions of the chipset when not in use. Further, when paired with the VIA C7-M processor, the VIA VN800 offers support for VIA PowerSaver™, which acts as a throttle to lower the CPU’s frequency and voltage when the workload is light, reducing overall CPU power consumption by up to 50 percent.
