Das is ja nicht der einzige Bug. 1. Due to the complex changes involved in the Internet code and new features, this new patch makes it impossible to connect to a game server running a lower version. i.e. CS 1.3 can only connect to CS 1.3 servers and HL 1.1.0.8 can only connect to HL 1.1.0.8 servers. It works both ways too -- older versions cannot connect to servers running the new versions.
2. Problems for all ATI-based video card users. Unable to run in OpenGL mode. You can run in Direct3D or Software, but reports are in that this increases lag when trying to play. I do not have any ATI-based cards to test this personally.
3. Lots of people crashing out due to various "Overflow" errors. One workaround is suggested above for ATI users. Disabling Voice Communication does not seem to resolve this issue.
4. Problems running smaller upgrade patches if you've deleted Deathmatch Classic. Workaround: Download and install the full patch installer, rather than the smaller upgrade patch.
5. Problems with Sound, ranging from no sound at all, to crashes when trying to adjust the sound.
6. Voice Communication feature seems to be document-challenged. Many reports of people unable to get this feature working, or configured correctly. There is a setup program located at Start -> Programs -> Sierra -> Half-Life -> Voice Setup, although we've received reports that not everyone can get this configuration utility to run.
7. Seems to be a graphical bug with Spectator mode for Voodoo-based users. Inset picture bleeds into main display on Voodoo-based cards and apparently goes "wacko" on Chase cam view.
8. Reports of various "CD Key In Use" messages.
9. People seeing weird player numbers on server listings... i.e. 12/8, 18/16. My theory is that as well as the players playing on the server, the additional numbers are made up of additional people using the Spectator mode to view the game?

By running the command ["connect"] with around 128 characters it is possible to overflow the buffer and execute arbitrary code. While this problem is on the client side it is still a serious issue, since servers have a function named "g_engfuncs.pfnClientCommand" which allows the server to force clients to execute whatever console command they want. This means that this overflow can be exploited remotely by means of this function.
12. Low Quality by using MS GameVoice
Manche haben Probleme, wenn sie das MS Sidewinder GameVoice Pad angeschlossen haben und die HLVoiceComm nutzen wollen.
