| obviously you are an experimenter, something like myself. however sometimes experimenters get burned. I generally say to people don't experiment unless you are prepared to live with the consequences. in the case of the settings you are playing with, only recomended that you adjust values identified. However, generally worst case is you will be doing some more PCI reflashing, if you persist in changing things. and not that I am telling or advising you to change anything, but there is also memory timing data close to the speed tables, with values like, "04 02 04 11 00 13 00 0B 00 06 03 04 04" These timings are not same for every XT's type card, and are a lot different for all higher cards. However, XT values should already be tight and thus very good for performance. However for any individual card with whatever ns rated memory is fitted, who knows what change a value may give. do your own research and you will guage which parts are best to change, without causing radical problems. Or if you are sensible, leave alone. As I said above, sometimes there can be unacceptable consequences !
