I`ve a 2100+ palomino AthlomXP and I was wondering what is the maximum this chip can go up to?
I`m looking at possibly going upto 2800MHz with peltier cooling. Is this at all possible?

I would wonder if any Palo would reach 2500MHz, normally You can be happy if you reach 2000MHz. So just try the max VCore and look what you can reach, but extremely more than 2000MHz would be a sensation.

You will never ever reach those 2800.

I suppose you meant 2800+ (which is apprx. 2230 real MHz).
But even that is way beyond reality.

Palomino cores suck, I think you're gonna hit 2400+ level, which means
apprx. 1900 real MHz. And I'm being real optimistic here. Sorry dude.

Maybe you should give one of those new Durons a chance. The
1400 version will hit 2100 MHz at almost default voltage, and they
cost only 40,- Euro (apprx). At least that's what I did, and I don't
regret it. Trust me on this one.

a friend gave his 2000+ palo freaky 2,2V -> result: 1850MHz, thats tha max, even a new watercooling-solution didnt help ....
i do think, that even 2000MHz is not possible, thats simply tooooo much 4 an old palo-core.
