2800+ barton or 2600+ t-bred? -3

PiGi offline OC Newbie 19 Jahre dabei ! AMD T-Bred	hi people... i have lost the opportunity of buying the 3000+, now i have to decide if buying a 2600+ t-bred unlocked or a 2800+ barton locked... what do you thing is better the L2 cache doubled or a cpu able to run over 200 fsb changing the moltiplicator? thanks

AMD T-Bred 1466 MHz @ 2100 MHz mit 1.65 Volt	I'd go for a XP-M 2400+, 2500+, or 2600+ they are based on the Barton but are unlocked (In general they clock better. Old steppings to 2700mhz, new ones to 2500mhz) ...tHe DaRk SiDe WiLl GeT yOu !!!...

It depends on the CPU, if it possible to run the 2800+ @ 200, you get a 2500 MHZ CPU, cause the 2800+ runs with a multi of 12,5! In theory in might be possible to run the 2800+ at 200 MHZ with a decent cooling solution! But in the reality you feel the difference between T-Bred and Barton(same clock)only while encoding Videos and compressing archives!
Otherwise no one can underwrite that both T-Bred and Barton running at 200 and above!(locked or unlocked)

AMD Opteron 1800 MHz @ 2500 MHz 35°C mit 1.39 Volt	If you want to buy a new CPU for your Socket 462 system, you should think about buying a 2600+ mobile These CPU's have a standard multiplier of 12,5 and with an FSB of 200 you should reach the 2500 mhz.
