klar jedes asus board geht jumper free!!! alle dip schalter müssen auf OFF stehen und zudem muß der jumper JEN1 auf 2-3 stehen!!(ist bei meinem P4S533 und selbst beim nem alten Solt borad so gewesen!!)

ich glaube schon dass das Asus Board jumper free kann, mein etwas älteres P4T533 kann es ja auch.

kann man das ASUS P4PE jumper free laufen lassen ??? ansonsten muss ich anders probieren .. ich krieg den nicht höher als 3 ghz mit 1.725 Vcore .. ohne jumper free :/ Die Temp liegt jetzt bei 41° (2.4@3/ vcore 1.8v) liegts daran , dass der vielleicht zu warm wird ?! wie hier schonmal gesagt wurde dass es amit 133 laufen müsse und 1.6 v vcore .. bei mir läufts nicht :/

Ich hab auch das P4 PE und einen P4 bei 2.53 Ghz @ 3.2 Ghz und mein VCORE iss wie beim anfgang auf 1.5 Volt ! Normal ? ;D

yes 1.65 are ok maxium should be 1.75. The Cpu needs the voltage to run, if you increase the core speed, the cpu needs more of it, cause it needs more power. Same as driving a car, double the speed, will increase the fuel.

with voltages 1.65  you can run at FSB 130/133

I have a feature on my motherboard that is called " jumperfree "  overclocking that gives me ALL the overclocking options in my bios.  Currently I am at 1.5V, and i can increase it but I don't know how much I should increase to.....  any suggestions on how much??  Y do we need to increase the voltages anyways??

zum thema, vielleicht schafft deine cpu nicht mehr. andere möglichkeit das der PCI/AGP nicht wirklich fest ist, sondern nur automatisch gejumpert wird und du grade ein blödes Verhältnis hast. Das Netzteil wäre noch quelle, das der ram überfordert ist, oder das Board die Spannung nicht stabil bereitstellen kann.

ok i try it for you,
volt is determinated by jumper or bios settings. Sometimes you have no possibility to  change it. The best one is, if you could do it in the bios. There you could choose a Vcore, normally it's by the other OC settings. It starts by 1.5 V and ends at 1.65-1.8, for more you need a pin mod (Link here). Other possibility is doing with the jumpers on the mobo, read your manuel to get some informations about it.

Sorry I can't read a thing......  I am bad at german........  Anybody here that knows english??  If you do, please help me out:

1) what determines your CPU core voltage??  I have a 2000 but I want to get it to the 2667 maximum overclock........  Right now I can go up to 2250 but thats about it.

hi,
ich hab den p4 von 2.4 auf 3 ghz .. vcore is 1.8v wenn ich höher als 3ghz takten will komm ich nicht ins windows :/  woran liegt das ? ;//
gehts nich höher weil graka zu heiß wird oder so ?? fsb is 125 mhz ;/

Hab nen boxed lüfter Temp is ca. 42° und mb is 19° ..
board ist nen asus p4pe
