As far as I know, your Board isn't very popular here! Does it deliver the usual NForce2 options? fixed AGP/PCI clock.... wide range of Multipliers... CoreVoltage .......

Does it officially support FSB200? (or, in other words: Is it the new NForce2 "Ultra" Chipset that supports Busspeeds of 200(+)?)

What type of XP2000+ are u using? ( maxing out at 1700 somehow sounds like a bad Palominostepping, did you assemble the rig yourself?)

Are you absolutely positive that your Ram works at speeds of 200 (x2)?

Some Information 'bout cooling and the PSU you use might turn out to be helpfull as well!

and, last but not least: Are you familiar with the the general techniques of OverClocking? (or is this your first attempt to get the maximum out of your CPU?)

I'm awfully sorry Beo. I promise this won't happen again. ;)

Boahr, Sven, I've just written an answer and it wasn't able to send it, don't try this again, but now back to overclocking.
That you reach only 1700MHz with 200MHz FSB could be because your Mainboard won't go higher. So try now with high multi and low FSB how high you will come. And maybe if the temperature is below 55°C you can raise the voltages a litle bit to get higher.

I'll move this to the english speaking section if you don't mind. :)

Btw. have you tried to increase the vcore a little bit?

hu, thats not the right forum, better try it in the english instead of german.

maybe ur cpu has the palomino or tbred a core, which often wont go over 1.7 -1.8 gig, so look at the stepping and ull find out if palo or tbred a / b;)

Is there anyone out there who can help me out with overclocking my athlonXP2000???:blubb:
My System: Enmic 8NAX(Nforce2) 333Mhz Ram in Dualchannelmode AthlonXP 2000 WD80GB and I am running winxp prof.:godlike:
So my prob is that I am only able to raise my cpu to 1750Mhz and thats it I tried it on 200FSB but there I have even less only 1700Mhz.
If I go higher then the screen stays black or windows won´t start :noidea:
So if there is anyone out there to help me :godlike::godlike::godlike:
