i don't think that this board supports such an option

it's to old

Oh well, that could also be the reason.
Or try to increase the VIO if your board have such an option.

3,5 x 112 = 392

4,0 x 112 = 448

that are the limits u have reached, correct ?

so i think it is the board / RAM ..

try PC-133 RAM on FSB-Speed and / or another Board

Hiya, you'll find a tool called "WCPUL2" in my overclocking download section .
This may be useful for you, because it's possible that your CPU cache don't like higher frequencies.
So lower the cache latency a little bit with this tool and then try to increase the fsb once again with a tool like softfsb or cpufsb ;)

Hey,
I have overclocked my Celeron266 to 448.
(4.0)*112Mhz
My board is a Tyan S1854 Trinity 400
I am trying to push the limits on this cpu but i can't seem to get it any higher.  I am cooling it, well i have original heatsink and fan, but i have open case with a house fan blowing alot of air in there...
anyway, has anyone got this cpu higher? and if so how?

Secondly,
i have a PII350, can't see to get it higher than 392, same board same setup.  any suggestions?

Thx
