If you want to buy a new CPU for your Socket 462 system, you should think about buying a 2600+ mobile :thumb:

These CPU's have a standard multiplier of 12,5 and with an FSB of 200 you should reach the 2500 mhz. ;)

It depends on the CPU, if it possible to run the 2800+ @ 200, you get a 2500 MHZ CPU, cause the 2800+ runs with a multi of 12,5! In theory in might be possible to run the 2800+ at 200 MHZ with a decent cooling solution! But in the reality you feel the difference between T-Bred and Barton(same clock)only while encoding Videos and compressing archives!
Otherwise no one can underwrite that both T-Bred and Barton running at 200 and above!(locked or unlocked)

I'd go for a XP-M 2400+, 2500+, or 2600+
they are based on the Barton but are unlocked
(In general they clock better. Old steppings to 2700mhz, new ones to 2500mhz)
