Hi!

Normally a fan like the thermaltake volcano 5 is enough, because the athlon xp 1800 won't get as hot as a thunderbird at 1,4ghz (i guess), but the dominator seems to be good and cheap but loud, if the noise doesn't disturb you, i would buy this fan!

hm, and it fits on the kg7 i believe, the review doesn't say anything about the size, or i am blind
i believe, the biggest cooler does fit on the kg7!!!

when i said kg7 raid, i was talking about the motherboard. made by abit. i would like to know of a reliable fan that will fit the mobo since its copacitators are very close to the cpu.

someone recommened the  Swiftech mcx30-0a. but that is very pricey and more heatsink than i need for a non-overclocked athlon xp 1800.

Hey NWD, when you're English's perfect, you can come back and say things like that! Well in deed you shouldn't do it even if your English was perfect!
There's no need for a perfect English to ask a question here!!!! Sad enough I can't answear the question, but anyone is able to understand, what the question is about! So, if you don't have an answear just keep your mouth shut!

hay, im am going to be building a new computer for the very first time.  i am think about getting an  OCZ Dominator for  an athlon xp 1800  on a kg7 raid.

i have two questions.

the first is will this  hsf fit in a kg7 raid?

the second is it umberalbly loud. its 46dbs. and is said to be very loud, it it to loud?
