My days with an Athlon XP Palo are well over now, but let me
ask, nonetheless: is the improvement worth the effort?
What does your temperature sensor say now, after the mod?
Just curious.

You can use Pinmod only for raising the VCore, or Change it to whatever you want if the L11 bridges are cut

I see, so i should do just this:

thanks for showing me the way

But shouldnt work the other method?
Beomaster Erstellt: 20:20 am 27. Juli 2005
no, you don't have to cut all L11 Bridges

look at the Athlon XP paint guide what brides are neccessary for 1,75V
this will be your actual configuration
now look wich bridge you have to cut to reach 1,7 or 1,65V

to reach 1,675V I belive you have to paint additionally a bridge, but I'm not sure

I have an AhtlonXP Palomino 1900+ running at default settings (12x 133 = 1600 MHz).

The problem is that my mobo (A7N8X-E) overvolts the CPU and it too hot. It is at 1.79v, it should be at 1.75v, and I know it runs well at 1.70v.

I have seen the pin-mod guide, is this what I should do?
