It just came to my mind.... maybe try a higher Vcore or some chipset voltage.

But post your system info it will help.

Could you inform us the voltage readings, temps, and the psu you are using?

It would help on building a more reliable diagnosis.:thumb:

Could you give us your temps, voltage readings, and also what kind of psu you're using?

That would help to give you a more reliable diagnosis.

Hi, I suppose the Problem could be the following but I don't know your HW that good so it's only a suggestion.

When turning on your PC the Powersupply starts up and it takes a while until all Volltages and currents are up & stable. The PSU indicates that state with a +5V Signal within approx. 0.5 seconds.
I don't know at which point your BIOS inits the onboard timer.
So I suggest, that the BIOSs Time-Out for this signal is already due by the Time the PSU sets it.

I have an strange problen with the computer I've build:

MSI Neo 2 platinum
Winchester 3500+
4x Dimm 512 Corsair XMS

2xWD 200 Gb raid 0

At last I've let it primeStable at 266 mhz bus, and memory at 221 Mhz cas 2-2-2 with voltage 2,85v, multiplier 9,5 (2526 mhz at 1,55v effective)

The problem is that the computer is completely stable, works perfectly, but... One time boot perfectly, then shut down, turn on again, and doesn't post, press power button 3 secs and power off, and by third, press button and post, but at only 200 bus mhz (a kind of secure mode I suppose). By last, shut down and put on again, then booting perfectly at 266 bus, but when shut down, next time again doesn't post, and the sequence repeat:

-Boot OK (266 bus)
-No post
-post, but at 200 bus
-Boot OK (266 bus)
-No post
...
...

Anyone knows why is this happening? I'm desesperate :'(
